Searching for Housing

Off-campus rental housing is advertised in the following places:

Temporary Housing

Expect to spend several days in temporary housing before locating and settling into a more permanent arrangement. For visitors staying less than one-year, finding a month-to-month apartment can be difficult and short-term contracts are usually more expensive than a regular lease. You may contact the property managers to see if they would consider a short-term lease or month-to-month contract.

Furnished Housing

The properties below are shared housing options:

  • Corvallis iHouse (short-term housing contracts available) is a home for international and U.S. undergrad and graduate students, postdocs, and interns at OSU. iHouse provides furnished bedrooms, large study rooms, inviting living rooms, movie room, game room with ping pong and foosball, yoga room, courtyard with barbecues, laundry facility, large dining room, large kitchen with many appliances and utensils, catered food, communal as well as private bathrooms and a large park across the street with volleyball courts and baseball fields.
  • International House (short-term housing contracts available) offers a relaxed and quiet atmosphere and furnished bedrooms.

University Housing & Dining Services (UHDS) has an on-campus Family Housing option called Orchard Court for currently-admitted students who meet eligibility requirements. You can apply to be on a waitlist that can take 16-24 months.
