Grace Atebe
Dr. Grace Atebe provides strategic leadership and oversight for immigration compliance, sponsored student programs, and international student, employee, and scholar services. She advises university leadership on immigration policy and compliance risk and helps shape strategies that support OSU’s international community and global engagement efforts.
Dr. Atebe joined Oregon State University in 2016 and brings over 15 years of experience in international education and higher education leadership. She holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Education Leadership and Administration from West Virginia University, along with a Master of Business Administration and a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. Her work is grounded in extensive experience across leadership, student advocacy, and advancing intercultural opportunities in university settings.
Outside of work, Dr. Atebe enjoys traveling, reading, and select sports - especially those she excelled at, such as swimming, field hockey, tennis, and track and field - go figure … she is Kenyan!
