Valentina Fearnside started working at OSU in December of 2012. In her role as the SEVIS and Data Compliance Assistant, Val is responsible for immigration record management for F1 and J1 international students. She works to maintain data consistencies, immigration compliance, and data flow across all systems. She is also in charge of functional and statistical reporting for these populations. Valentina loves seeing new places and experiencing different cultures, and has traveled throughout Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Russia, China, India, and Turkey—as well as to Chicago, Denver, Las Vegas, New York, San Francisco and many other places in the U.S.
